MTN officially launched its Early Talent Development Program with Universities

MTN officially launched its Early Talent Development Program, a pioneering initiative designed to engage and empower female students and individuals with disabilities from local universities in South Sudan. 

The program seeks to recruit, develop, and accelerate the careers of top graduates and students from three key institutions: the University of Juba, John Garang University, and Rumbek University.

The launch ceremony was officiated by Hon. Gabriel Changson Chang, Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, and other dignitaries

The MTN Early Talent Development Program is specifically tailored to students pursuing studies in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), to foster a diverse talent pool in these critical fields. 

By providing targeted support, mentorship, and development opportunities, the program aims to equip participants with the skills and leadership potential necessary for their professional growth.

Hon. Gabriel Changson Chang said the program is a vital step towards bridging the gap for underrepresented groups in the workforce, particularly women and individuals with disabilities. It provides an opportunity for them to excel in STEM fields and contribute meaningfully to South Sudan’s development.”

MTN’s initiative not only aligns with its commitment to social responsibility but also aims to build a pipeline of future leaders and skilled professionals, ensuring the company’s long-term sustainability in a rapidly evolving business environment.
